Chapter II: Of Mists, Women, and War
It is a mournful time in Hylanthia.
The members of the Hearts House are recuperating after their losses during the invasion by the Spade army. The Queen lusts for blood, but even her rage cannot blind her to the point of disobeying the Joker and risking the outbreak of a war between all four nations. Mourning the loss of her son and the disappearance of her daughter, she is however, content upon hunting the Rabbits and bathing in the White Rabbit’s blood for now. The appearance and relations with the Star House have furthered the complications of Wonderland. With new enemies appearing, alliances forming, and rebellions festering, Wonderland will never be the same.
What is up with the Joker? He’s creepy, he’s a demon, and he seems to have a fetish for eating babies… Who thought this was a good idea? This is the man responsible for the investigation that might start a war? All of Wonderland is looking toward Belphegor for answers to questions, and Tao help us… he is the only thing standing between peace and all out war between the Spade and Hearts House.
